Lake Sebu lies near the Southernmost tip of the island of Mindanao, the second largest of the Philippine Archipelago of 7,107 islands scattered into the Pacific.

Lake Sebu is a sanctuary that awaits every anxious eager visitor in this mountain town where one could celebrate the enchantment and splendor of the three (3) lakes namely: Lake Sebu, Lake Lahit and Lake Seloton. And much more live and breathe the luxury of fresh and clean air that captures all the best of country living.

Living in this beautiful and captivating town where one can reflect the beauty of God’s creation in seeing the beautiful and awesome seven waterfalls of the south and enjoy the cool splash at the Traankini falls about 6 kilometers away from the Santa Cruz Mission without breaking the sanctity of your privacy. Out there, country living could truly be compared with cultivated and firm luxury of a heaven. A heaven less of a show and more of a home away from home.

1. Three Lakes - primarily because of its picturesque location. The lakes are located between the elevated hills and mountains approximately 700 meters above sea level, with tilapia fishcages scattered all over which makes it extra ordinary and captivating. To take the tour around the lakes, take a banca or a motor boat for rent to see the islands and hills rarely situated along the lakes. This places can be reached from Marbel, take a bus to Surallah terminal, take a jeepney that will take you directly to Lake Sebu approximately 27 kilometers.

2. Isla Grande and Tegaya Island – This two (2) famous islands in Lake Sebu considered as the largest island within the lake classified under agroforestry and cover approximately 9.23 hectares. Tegaya island is the silent reminder of what was once a burial ground of the tribal people. Both islands are conducive for camping and fishing.

3. 7 Waterfalls – Encounter the world of spellbinding rainbows and cascading waterfalls. Discover the seven (7) waterfalls that are found amidst a refreshing backdrop of lash trees silhouetted by the foggy mountain slopes. Swimming, diving and fishing are some activities one can reveal or simply frolicking in its running water. Seven falls are located within the route of the Lenon river winding from outlet of Lake Seloton passing through Lem-alo towards the barangay of Lake Sebu and Lake Lahit to the lower valley of Surallah and finally to the Allah River. It can be reached by a jeepney, motorbikes or by horseback riding which is about 4 kilometers from the Poblacion, the place is good for camping and for people who are nature lovers.

4. Traankini Resort – The named resort is located at Barangay Lamlahak a few kilometers away from Poblacion and can be reached by any transportation. It is famous for its cool splash of natural flowing water which conducive for swimming while exploring the hidden bounty of nature.

Other tourist attraction include T’boli Arts and Crafts that provide shopping opportunities for souvenirs collection are found in the urban areas.
The gaiety of the Helobung Festival is full of fire ritual and rhythm brought by a fusion of ethnic instruments, music and dancers that likewise attracting tourists, usually held on the Foundation Anniversary of Lake Sebu in the second week of November.
